Chari-Tea Hamper to support Macmillan
Hay Hampers is launching a brand new hamper to support Macmillan Cancer Support.
Chari-Tea is a tea time gift with an array of artisan biscuits such as a tin of cranberry biscuits, amaretto biscuits in three flavours - coffee, lemon and almond - plus buttery shortbread from Scotland. It also contains a selection box of Ceylon teas and a blood orange fruit infusion tea, all presented in a jute handbag that can be reused and kept after the contents are consumed.
A £5 donation from sales of each Chari-Tea hamper will go to Macmillan.
Gabriele Da Re, Managing Director at Hay Hampers explains:
”The Chari-Tea hamper has been specifically created with the Macmillan’s World's Biggest Coffee Morning in mind, which will be on Friday 27th September this year. It’s our way to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Hay Hampers, sharing joyful, sweet moments with our customers and helping raise money for people with cancer”.
According to national figures, around 2.7 million people are living with cancer in the UK and that figure is expected to rise to 4 million by 2030. In 2018, Macmillan made a difference to the lives of 1.9 million people, giving them in-depth, personal support.
Elisabeth Och, Marketing Director at Hay Hampers comments:
“It is all about Chari-tea as this hamper allows you to give a gift to more than one person at the same time! So we rely on our customers’ benevolence to raise a considerable amount to support Macmillan. Our target is to sell 1,000 so we will be able to donate £5,000”.
Priced £29.50, the Chari-Tea hamper can be delivered for free on Friday 27th September for the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
