Hay Hampers is launching a range of Diwali gifts
Hay Hampers is launching a brand new range of food gifts for this coming Diwali to meet the increasing demand of online hampers for the Hindu Festival of Lights, which will be celebrated on Sunday 27th October this year.
The festival of lights signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. Giving gifts on Diwali is an ancient custom and a way to strengthen relationships with friends, relatives and close ones in India and abroad.
Available for international delivery, the Diwali hampers from Hay Hampers contain traditional delicacies such as dried fruits and nuts, chocolates and teas as well as more contemporary treats such as snacks and juices. They can be given as a corporate gift as well as a sharing gesture with family and friends.
Gabriele Da Re, Managing Director at Hay Hampers explains:
”There is approximately 1.5 million of Indians living in the UK, making them the single largest ethnic minority population in the country. As a company whose ethos is to offer ‘Unique gifts for everyone’, we deemed it important to create a proper range of hampers also for one of the most celebrated occasions in the Hindu world”.
Diwali is the five-day festival of lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, but also Sikhs and Jains across the world. To celebrate, houses are decorated with candles and colourful lights and huge firework displays are held while families feast and share gifts.
