The Cantucci or Biscotti di Prato are crunchy cookies from Tuscany. Biscotti literally means twice (bis) cooked (cotti). These ones have been sourced from a bakery near Florence (a family business in its fifth generation) and contain chocolate chips. They are fantastic dipped in coffee or tea or even (as they are traditionally done so in Tuscany in dessert wine called Vin Santo), the second bake make them ideal to do this as they maintain their structure while being able to absorb liquid.
