Happy International Women’s Day
International Women's Day, which occurs each year on 8th March, aims to take a moment celebrate all the achievements of women across the world - all the contributions they've made to social, economic, cultural and political advancements.
We may not have made any radical advancements in a global sense, but here at Hay Hampers we are extremely proud to celebrate the fact that we are a small rural business that is currently 85% women, including a female Director. We are very proud of the work we do here and always aim to be as supportive of women in the workplace as possible and aim for gender parity in all aspects.
So, we would like to say ‘Happy Women’s Day to you all’ and raise a glass in thanks to all the women who through history have taken actions to enable us to be the business that we are.
