How to Host a Wimbledon Viewing Party
Wimbledon 2018 is just around the corner, and just in case you don’t fancy camping outside the grounds to try and get a glimpse, we’ve put together a how-to guide for serving up the best Wimbledon viewing party at home!
Ace the Food
The key to any good party is the snacks table. You can get into the Great British spirit of Wimbledon with classics like strawberries and cream, and don’t forget scones with strawberry jam. Our Wimbledon hamper has got a great mixture of sweet and savoury snacks to keep your guests happy, including Snowdonia cheese, Scottish oatcakes and premium Scottish smoked salmon (because if Andy Murray has proven anything, it’s that we’re all basically Scottish during Wimbledon).
Smash the Drinks
Nothing turns watching a match into a match-watching party quite like a tipple or two to wash down the food. Set and Match the Decorations
Make it an occasion with some Wimbledon-themed decorations to brighten up your living room. British bunting is always a great choice, or you can stick to the tennis theme with racket and ball banners, balloons and tableware. If you want to keep things really simple, go for a classic green-and-white theme or dig some of your old sports gear out of the garage and use them to make artsy centrepieces.
