Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea – the new trend!
Afternoon cream teas have long been a popular way to celebrate Mother’s day but why should Dad’s miss out. Maybe he doesn’t have such a sweet tooth or enjoy such a girly presentation, but we have come up with a solution.
A masculine, man’s afternoon tea. We have made some specifically Father’s day afternoon cream tea gifts with a much less feminine presentation. But that isn’t all we have to offer – we want to share with you our homemade Father’s day afternoon tea.
Presented on a make-shift stand with 2 boards stood on top of one another with tins, and a vinyl single as the top layer and a bottle of beer to finish off the top with a flourish.
We made and/or gathered together and presented all this particular Dad’s favourites:
Sausage rolls
Pork pies
Sandwiches
Crisps, Nuts and Olives
Cheese on crackers or cocktail sticks
Cheese scones
Antipasti meats such as our venison salami and slices of Salsiccia
Pickled onions and cornichons,
Tapenade, Nduja and pate on toast
Even mini baked new potatoes with cream cheese and chives
