From Hay Hampers The First Advent Hamper
Hay Hampers is launching the Advent Hamper, a brand new gift idea to make the countdown to Christmas more varied and original.
Containing 24 days of treats, the Advent Hamper is an alternative advent calendar for foodies. Carefully hand-picked sweet and savoury items, such as crisps, nuts, popcorn, biscuits, chocolates and sweets offer a little indulgence each day in the lead up to Christmas. Packed in a glossy reusable carton box, the Advent Hamper is priced £67 and it is available through all Hay Hampers’ marketplaces.
Included in the hamper there is a numbered pictogram with 24 little doors, behind which the treat of each day is revealed.
Elisabeth Och, Marketing Director at Hay Hampers comments:
“The Advent Hamper is a fun present, ideal for a family or for office sharing. To reflect our ethos of innovation and freshness, we have created this gift which is a brand new idea in the hamper industry. Not only is the Advent Hamper in line with our innovative approach to the market, but also it is meant to bring forward our Christmas sales”.
In the era of mobile shopping, shoppers know they can easily find and get what they’re looking for up until the last minute. So the Christmas shopping trend sees an increasing number of people waiting longer and longer to buy. According to a survey of 1,000 shoppers undertaken by the Centre for Retail Research for VoucherCodes.co.uk, 11% of Brits start their shopping in September or earlier but almost two in five of them will leave it until December. When shoppers consider a new purchase, they spend 13 days on average shopping for the item. But once they decide to buy, almost half expect it either the same day or the next day.
Always attentive to new trends, Hay Hampers has won many national and international accolades for its products, its design ideas and packaging.
“The Advent Hamper has already been a success among our corporate customers. Let’s see how private customers will react to this new gift idea now” concludes Elisabeth Och.
