Have you had a go at making a Dalgona whipped coffee?
Now on lockdown we all have a bit more time. So here is a guide on how to experiment with this latest of summer coffee trends for 2020 for you, using our Italian instant coffee from Manuel.
It is easy as pie to make, but be warned the caffeine hit is intense – sent me a bit loopy! Good to get you up and going on lazy lockdown days when motivation to get chores done is lacking!
You will need;
2 tbsp instant coffee (the best you can find – we love our Italian instant from Manuel)
2 tbsp caster sugar
2 tbsp hot water
A whisk or electric blender stick
Glass, ¾ filled with iced fresh milk of your choice (whole, skimmed, soy, almond, coconut)
Just whisk the coffee granules, sugar and water until cloud like and fluffy either by hand with a balloon whisk or electric hand blender. When whipped to peaks, place atop of the iced milk and serve.
We mixed it in with the milk while drinking with a straw – and wait for the hit of energy!
