Ingredients:
300g of Cantucci biscuits 150g of butter 200g of dark chocolate 2 eggs 100g of sugar icing sugar
Method
1. Crumble the biscuits coarsely. Then melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler. 2. While the chocolate melts, make a cream with the butter: work it with a wooden spoon till is soft enough.Then add the sugar and the eggs. Mix well until you get a smooth and a quite homogeneous cream. Then add the chocolate. Mix until the mixture becomes perfectly homogeneous. 3. Add the chocolate cream to the chopped cookies and mix. 4. Place the mixture on a baking sheet, place in the fridge, removing before fully firm and cut out heart shapes with a heart shaped cutter. Or Place mixture in clingfilm in a sausage shape, twist the ends of the clingfilm until firm and then push over the top of the edge of a baking tray (or ruler or similar) to create the indent of the heart. 5. Place in the fridge to cool for at least 4 hours, then slice when cool, just like a real salami to reveal the heart shaped cross section.
